Core System Components of the kyro Platform
kyro consists of coordinated components that together form an improvement system. Each component fulfills a purpose – it is only when they work together that they have an effect.
The components are not intended as standalone functions, but as elements of a continuous system. They interlock and ensure that improvement is not local or random.
The AI function in kyro provides seamless support for analysis, root cause analysis, and the development of measures.

Process Analysis & Visualization
kyro makes processes, connections and bottlenecks visible by mapping management, core, and support processes in a structured manner in the process house.
Process analysis (Value Stream Mapping, Makigami, SIPOC) helps to systematically identify throughput times, waste, and bottlenecks. Relevant process metrics are automatically calculated and displayed.
This creates transparency about the actual performance of the processes.

Structured Problem Solving
Problems are not treated in isolation in kyro, but are understood as part of a continuous improvement system. The Open Challenge List centrally displays all open problems and links them to structured root cause analysis. Root cause problem solving methods such as the A3 report and PDCA are integrated without burdening everyday work with methodological constraints.
This creates a common understanding of causes rather than merely treating symptoms.

Measures & Task Management
Improvements only have an effect if they are implemented consistently. kyro links problems directly to measures, tasks, and responsibilities, thereby ensuring commitment. Task lists and GANTT logic keep the implementation progress transparent and controllable.
Continuous improvement (CIP), the internal control system, quality management and audits are also integrated into everyday work rather than being managed separately.

Skills & Roles
The skill matrix reveals existing skills within the team and highlights areas where knowledge is lacking or needs to be developed. This results in a coaching matrix that provides targeted support for who can learn from whom. In this way, skills development becomes part of the improvement system rather than a separate HR measure.
The organizational chart also provides clarity about roles, responsibilities, and collaboration in the context of the process.

Learning & Securing Knowledge
Improvement is not reinvented every time in kyro. Findings from analyses, problem solutions, and implemented measures remain in the system and are documented in a traceable manner. Teams can access existing knowledge, learn from it, and develop it further.
This creates a learning organization in which improvement is sustainably anchored.

Leadership & Overview
Leadership requires transparency regarding progress and impact. Management reporting in kyro shows at a glance which measures are pending, where delays are occurring, and which improvements have already been implemented. Savings and potential are made visible based on facts.
This creates a reliable basis for leadership, control, and prioritization of improvement work.
Two Usage Modules for an Integrated System
The components of continuous improvement can be experienced in kyro through two usage modules: The kyro web platform and the kyro app. These are not standalone products, but two ways of accessing the same system – depending on the work situation.

The kyro Web Platform - the Hub of Improvement Work
The web platform is the central user module for structured improvement work. Here, teams work on processes, causes, measures, and evaluations – together, transparently, and comprehensively. The web platform provides overview, structure, and control, and forms the backbone of the kyro system.
The web platform is browser-based and deliberately designed to be simple. It works on desktops, laptops, and even iPads – without installation or additional software. In the background, it links complex relationships, while remaining simple and intuitive for users. In this way, it supports teams in their daily work without creating additional technical hurdles.
The kyro Mobile App – Capturing Improvements Where They Arise
The kyro app is the usage module for everyday work. The app is used where the action is – in production, healthcare, or service companies: It allows observations, problems, and ideas to be recorded directly where they arise – without a media break. Everything that is recorded on the go flows seamlessly into the web platform and remains part of the same system.
The most important functions of the kyro app at a glance
- Record problems or ideas with photos and voice input (voice-to-text + translation)
- Assign to responsible persons directly in the recording process
- Automatic transfer of entries to the web platform (Open Challenge Workspace)
- Intuitive operation with just a few clicks
- Large tiles for easy operation, even on small devices
